◆聖經：「上帝對諾亞和他的兒子們說：『我現在要跟你們和你們的子子孫孫，以及地上所有的動物，就是那些跟你們從船裏出來的牲畜、飛鳥等立約，我應許你們：所有的生物絕不再被洪水消滅，不再有洪水毀滅大地。我使我的彩虹在雲端出現，作為立約的永久記號。這約是我跟你們以及所有生物立的，彩虹是我跟世界立約的記號，無論什麼時候，我的天空鋪上雲彩，彩虹在雲端出現，我就記得，我跟你們以及所有生物訂立的約，洪水不再毀滅所有的生物。當我看見彩虹在雲端出現，我就記得我跟你們和地上所有的生物所立永遠的約，這就是我跟世上所有的生物立約的記號。』
"And
God said to Noah and to his sons, “Truly, I will make my
agreement with you and with your seed after you, and with
every living thing with you, all birds and cattle and every
beast of the earth which comes out of the ark with you.
And I will make my agreement with you; never again will
all flesh be cut off by the waters; never again will the
waters come over all the earth for its destruction.” And
God said, “This is the sign of agreement which I make between
me and you and every living thing with you, for all future
generations: I will put my bow in the cloud and it will
be for a sign of the agreement between me and the earth.
And whenever I make a cloud come over the earth, the bow
will be seen in the cloud, and I will keep in mind the agreement
between me and you and every living thing; and never again
will there be a great flow of waters causing destruction
to all flesh. And the bow will be in the cloud, and looking
on it, I will keep in mind the eternal agreement between
God and every living thing on the earth.” And God said
to Noah, “This is the token of the covenant, which I have
established between me and all flesh that is upon the earth.”"

◆「上帝告訴諾亞說：『現在你們可以真正離開這條船，出去開始新的生活了。』他們謝謝上帝保護他們的安全，然後就去收集很多石頭，在一起造一個很大很高的平台，煮東西放在那裡供養上帝，那個時候，天上出現一道彩虹，上帝用這個代表祂的良心，善良的答應他說：『從今以後，我不會再毀滅世界了。』重新開始嘛，他這樣答應了。」
God
told Noah, "Now you can leave the ark and go out to
start new lives." They thanked God for protecting them.
They then collected many stones and built a very big and
tall altar. They cooked food and made offerings to God.
At that time, a rainbow appeared in the sky, with which
God showed Hiers compassion, and kindly promised Noah, "From
now on, I won't destroy the world again." God made
this promise so that people could start new lives.
